This Saturday’s game against the Galaxy slime in Oakland promises to be a thriller. Be there to watch Landon regret his decision to leave San Jose, and to enjoy the fireworks show after the game.
But first, a few updates for our fellow members…
TAILGATE
Yes, a pre-game tailgate!
The official tailgate site will be in Parking Lot D on the north side of the complex, in the front section right next to handicap parking for the Arena. Enter the north parking lots via Coliseum Way from 66th Avenue, turn right into Parking Lot D, and head to the front of the lot. There should be spaces cordoned off for about 50 cars, for the combined memberships of Club Quake, the Casbah, and the Ultras.
(Oakland stadium management has asked us to tailgate in Lot D because they will close off a portion of Lot A for the post-game fireworks.)
Get there early to set up and party! Club Quake will have cold drinks and a hot charcoal grill for you, plus the condiments you might need for your burger, dog or sausage. Bring something to share with your fellow fans.
Stay tuned in case we need to send a follow-up email to fine-tune tailgate logistics.

Renewals are rolling in for Club Quake membership for the 2009 season. Hurry up and renew – and bring a new member into the club – so you can support your team both on and off the field.
