A few updates for our fellow members…
MEMBERSHIP
Support your team both on and off the field. Renew your membership to Club Quake for the 2009 season!
In past seasons the Club has anchored pre-game tailgate barbecues, hosted end-of-season dinners with the players and coaches, organized road trips to the MLS Cup and games at the Home Depot Center, and supported the team’s charitable efforts.
This season, Club Quake plans to host private events with the team, organize road trips to Los Angeles and possibly other MLS cities, anchor pre-game tailgates at Oakland/McAfee stadium, participate in the team’s charitable projects and initiate our own, and propose special benefits for fans who are both Club members and season ticket holders.
Club Quake members enjoy discounts at soccer-friendly businesses and restaurants in the South Bay, receive pre-game updates, and actively participate in building an active soccer neighborhood on the club’s web site: www.ClubQuake.org. Be part of a community that knows the game, appreciates the team, and encourages a family-friendly environment to watch, teach, and be passionate about the world’s most popular sport and the league’s best team.

VIEWING PARTY AND CLUB MEETING
Sunday, April 5 at 11:00 a.m.
Britannia Arms Almaden: www.britanniaarmsalmaden.com
Club Quake’s first viewing party will bring all of us together to enjoy watching the Quakes take on the Wizards in Kansas City, savoring a BBQ lunch, and hearing what our guest speaker has to say about the 2009 season.
The BBQ lunch is free for Club Quake members. Guests may sign up to join the club or pay $15 for the viewing party and lunch.
We’ll also talk about Club Quake leadership and hope to hear from those of you who want to take part in delivering events and other benefits to other members. The Club Quake board offers the following opportunities to serve: President, Secretary, Treasurer, Outreach/Events, and Membership. If you are interested in running in an open election for any position, please submit a statement of your qualifications to Admin@ClubQuake.org by March 31. A position we are particularly eager to fill is Treasurer.
We will present all the candidates at the meeting on April 5, and will look forward to tallying the votes you submit through polls on our web site, www.ClubQuake.org.
We look forward to hearing from you on the web and to seeing you at the viewing party and general meeting. To reserve your space for this event please email Britsal2@yahoo.com or Events@ClubQuake.org, or call ![]()
